Here's my review of the Search Lotto free lottery tickets promotion.

Pretty easy to use, just change your default search engine inside Firefox or Chrome to use the Search Lotto site.

Search results supposedly supplied by Yahoo! are horrendous, I usually end up back at Google 60% of the time.

After a week I received two tickets, 09 14 17 23 27 43 and 07 21 25 30 34 47 and received nothing but I can hardly blame Search Lotto for the ridiculous odds of the National Lottery.

Overall its not too bad, it would be better if the search results used Google but I take it they receive more revenue from Yahoo to pay for the tickets. I'll probably keep using it until they go bust.

Small Print...

1. You are limited to 10 verified search results a day that count towards your 25 needed to get a 'ticket'.

2. Ticket numbers are emailed to you on Friday afternoons.

3. The 'ticket' is actually split between 10 people actually giving you...

On a side note I doubt that the Search Lotto site is making alot of money so the chances of them paying out a big win is highly dubious.

If youre already using the awful Yahoo search then you may as well signup for this and get a couple of free tickets a week.
